Catherine Clause is the Lead Program Coordinator at the Center. She took SOC 119 as a Sophomore, became an Intern at the Center when she was a Junior, and now holds a staff position while finishing up her degree in Sociology and Criminology. She sets the schedule for the facilitators and manages the tasks of the interns. Working at the Center enables Catherine to meet and have conversations with people around the world. “I have gained a lot of understanding that everybody has a story, and whether you are here, across the country or across the world, while your story can be completely different, I have discovered that feelings can be the same.” As she looks to the future, she is realizing that she is becoming more interested in studying conflict resolution. But for now, simply put, she is grateful to work at World in Conversation.
