One of Yuli’s first roles at World in Conversation was translating and narrating the Spanish version of the book “Transforming Conflict and Collaboration” to Spanish, and since then her role has continuously grown from her time starting as a dialogue observer, working in the research team and now, training students on Foundation of Facilitation.

She also manages the SOC119 Course and works with Sam and the Team along the semester to keep everything running smoothly for the students. In Colombia, Yuli serves as a Site Coordinator of an initiative she co-founded called ‘Colombia se escucha’ which acts as a bridge between World in Conversation and different universities in Colombia.

Yuli graduated from the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia in 2003 as a sociologist. She has experience working with International Cooperation projects, in the corporate world, and in nonprofits. In 2012, she completed a graduate certificate in Organizations, Development, and Social Responsibility at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá.
